Austin truck lettering: name, number, done, readable
SJG Print & Design produces Austin truck lettering — company names, phone numbers, door logos and simple fleet kits — as vehicle-grade vinyl at 12211 Waters Park Rd. Most trades start here instead of a full wrap: high-contrast type that reads on I-35, with matching shirts and yard signs available.
Overview
Lettering is a legal and a marketing problem. The truck has to say who you are and how to call you. SJG cuts and prints that kit so unit 3 matches unit 1, and so the phone number is not six inches tall on a 15-foot door.
Vinyl kits print in North Austin. Many owners apply door lettering with application tape. Complex layouts can be quoted for install.
What we print
Cut-vinyl names and numbers
Printed door logos with laminate
USDOT-adjacent layouts when you supply the copy
Replacement kits after a respray
Matching hard-hat stickers
Why SJG
Readability over decoration: We will enlarge the phone number and drop the tagline that disappears at 45 mph.
Fleet file once: The next truck is a reorder.
The rest of the trade kit: Shirts, magnets-adjacent decals, yard signs.
How it works
Photo of the door: Handle and molding locations.
Exact legal name and number: We print what you send, so check it.
Proof at door width: Not a business-card layout stretched.
Kit with tape: You apply or we quote install.
Is truck lettering cheaper than a wrap?
Usually yes. Lettering and door logos are a different product than full coverage. Most Austin trades start here.
Do I need to leave the truck with you?
Not for simple kits. You can apply cut vinyl with application tape on clean paint. Install is optional.
Can you match the lettering on two trucks?
Yes. We keep the file and reprint the kit.
Will it damage the paint?
Quality vinyl on sound OEM paint is designed to remove later. Oxidized or aftermarket paint is a different conversation — send photos.
