Custom UV DTF transfer gang sheets
Overview
UV DTF transfers place UV-cured color, white ink, and adhesive onto a carrier film so detailed graphics can be applied directly to compatible hard goods. You get the look of direct printing without owning a UV flatbed or sending every individual item through a printer.
The gang-sheet builder lets you combine logos, labels, names, small decals, and repeating graphics in one organized layout. Duplicate artwork, size each design, review the sheet, and order only the space your project needs.
Surface preparation is the difference between a quick decoration and a professional result. Clean, smooth, non-porous surfaces perform best; textured, flexible, oily, waxed, or silicone surfaces should be tested before production.
How it works
Choose Your Sheet: Open the UV DTF builder and choose the sheet length that matches your project.
Build the Layout: Upload, resize, duplicate, rotate, and arrange every graphic inside the printable area.
Review the Sheet: Check resolution, spacing, artwork backgrounds, quantities, and the live order total.
Apply to Clean Surfaces: Cut designs apart, prepare each item, burnish firmly, and peel the carrier slowly.
What you get
Full Color + White: Vivid color, crisp small details, and opacity on dark compatible surfaces.
No Heat Press: Apply using the carrier film and firm burnishing pressure.
Raised Print Feel: UV-cured ink creates a premium, dimensional surface compared with flat vinyl.
Flexible Sheet Lengths: Arrange multiple sizes and designs on an 11-inch printable width.
Permanent Adhesive: Made for prepared, smooth hard goods and long-lasting branding.
No Minimums: Create the amount your job requires without a large quantity commitment.
Live Artwork Checks: Resolution feedback helps you identify files that may print soft.
Austin Production: Printed, finished, and checked by SJG Print & Design.
What surfaces work best with UV DTF?
Smooth, clean, dry, hard surfaces work best, including many tumblers, glass items, acrylic, coated metal, rigid plastic, and sealed materials. Texture, flex, silicone, wax, oil, and specialty coatings can reduce adhesion, so test first.
Do UV DTF transfers need heat?
No. UV DTF is applied with pressure using the transfer carrier. A heat press is not required.
Can I use UV DTF on fabric?
No. UV DTF is made for compatible hard surfaces. Choose regular DTF transfers for shirts, hoodies, and other apparel fabrics.
Are UV DTF transfers dishwasher-safe?
Performance depends on the item, coating, preparation, placement, dishwasher temperature, detergent, and application. Hand washing gives the longest, most predictable life. Test before promising dishwasher performance.
Do I need to seal UV DTF?
Many applications do not require a separate clear coat, but the finished item's use and substrate determine whether added protection is appropriate. Always test the full process before a production run.
Can I reposition a transfer after it touches the surface?
Usually not without risking damage. Align carefully before lowering the transfer because the permanent adhesive begins bonding as soon as it contacts the surface.
Why did a small detail stay on the carrier?
Small details need firm, even burnishing and a slow, low-angle peel. Lay the carrier back down, burnish that area again, and peel more slowly.
